The inspector’s account

On 11-7-2025 at 10:07am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Michael Bilger and Sommer Hayes arrived unannounced to conduct a quarterly health and safety check. LPAs met with Administrator Danica Morrison and explained the purpose of the visit. LPAs conducted an inspection of the physical plant including all common areas, kitchen, resident bedrooms, bathrooms, office areas, and outside of the facility to ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations. LPAs also reviewed two resident files and two staff files as part of today's inspection.

LPAs observed facility to be clean and sanitary throughout with no foul odors or prominent stains on walls and floors. Facility has sufficient staffing in place to meet client needs. Clients were not in facility at time of this visit. There are currently five staff on duty as well as Administrator. Facility has sufficient food supply to meet resident needs. No obstructions to fire exits noted. All dangerous items are inaccessible to residents in care. Medication storage area is locked and inaccessible to residents in care. Water temperature reads between 105*F-120*F. Fire extinguisher was last dated 1-13-2025.

LPAs reviewed current LIC 500 which indicates Administrator presence in facility at least 40 hours per week. Staff training requirements as noted from previous meeting dated 8-7-2025 is in progress with due date of 2-7-2026. Administrator made aware that quarterly visits shall continue at this time.

As a result of today's visit, no citations are issued. An exit interview was conducted with Administrator and a copy of this report was provided.
