The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst(LPA) Noel Wolf Petersen, arrived unannounced and started the annual inspection, the lpa met with Cherryl Magsayo and explained the purpose of the visit. The annual wont be able to be completed because the LPA is considerably early.

The physical plant was inspected including the kitchen, common areas, storage areas, resident bedrooms and resident bathrooms, exteriors and evacuation routes. Facility is clean and and traffic areas are unobstructed. Common areas are clean and and there are space for activities. The resident bathrooms have functional hardware and the water temperature was 114*F. the resident bedrooms have the required furnishings and the LPA mentioned the future inclusion of anti bug plastic sheeting, the licensee was receptive. The storage areas have adequate storage for sharps, toxics, and medications. The exteriors have no trip hazzards and have appropriately sized walkways to the emergency exit; the exit is in good repair. the required posters are present including the resident rights, ombudsman, federal work requirements, facility sketch with evacuation route. The fire extinguisher was dated 5/27/25.

The client, administrator, and staff files will be reviewed at the next visit, staff and client interviews as well.

No citations were issued as part of this visit, a exit interview was completed with the staff administrator, a copy of the report was read and left with the administrator.
