The inspector’s account

Unannounced one year required visit made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jason Lund who was met by care staff and later with Administrator Janice Legaspi. LPA Lund explained the reason for visit to Administrator Janice Legaspi. Census: 2

LPA Lund & Administrator Janice Legaspi toured/ inspected the facility. A inspection of the facility kitchen area was conducted, drawers housing knives and sharps were observed to be locked and made inaccessible to the residents at this time. Cleaning agents, bleach, and other supplies were observed to be locked and made inaccessible to the residents at this time. A inspection of the facility food supply, the facility had sufficient 2-day perishable foods and 7-day nonperishable foods. Medication cabinet was observed to be locked and made inaccessible to the residents at this time. Living room, dining area, and all other areas for resident use were inspected to furnished and maintained in compliance at this time and able to meet the needs of the residents. A inspection of the resident bedrooms and bathrooms was conducted and in compliance at this time. Laundry area, located next to the garage area, was inspected. Cleaning supplies, detergents, and bleach were observed to be locked and made inaccessible to the residents at this time. Linen closet had bed sheets, linens, and towels to meet the needs of the residents. A inspection of the garage area was conducted. Shelving units and additional food storage unit was observed to be present and in functional order at this time. First aid kits present and contained all of the required components. Fire extinguisher, 1/28/2026 observed to be in compliance at this time. A inspection of the exterior grounds for this facility was conducted and in compliance. Review of (2) facility resident files and (2) facility staff files was conducted, in compliance.

There were no deficiencies observed or cited during today's annual visit. Exit Interview
