The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Albert Johnson arrived at facility unannounced to conduct a case management visit. LPA met with Administrator Nykesha Wilkens and explained the purpose of today's visit.

The department received notification that R1 has been released from jail but has a stay away order from two full time staff at Willora Home. VMRC is looking to identify a new placement for R1 and we are trying to figure out his housing until placement is secured. R1 was released from jail but had a stay away order for two full time staff at Willora Home. No further action is required. Police report number: 25-6558. VMRC has identify a new placement for R1 and his housing is secured.

The facility has been made aware of the need to inform the department of construction that may interrupt the daily living of residents in care and the need to report on these matters. The department has requested information for past repairs (water heater replacement and water damage) and present/future repairs that will need to be completed to address the conditions of the bathroom in the main house. The department will return at a later date after reviewing the requested information to determine if further action is needed. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was given.
