The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) arrived unannounced to conduct a case management visit. LPA met with staff during today's visit.

Case management visit regarding incident report detailing suspected neglect and financial abuse. The program has reported the information to APS, Valley Mountain Regional center and CDSS.

LPA was able to talk with R1, he has had multiple surgeries and has physical limitation that require assistance from IHSS as well as SLS services. LPA was not sure if an investigation was currently happening and did not want to impede on it if it is happening.

LPA called APS to follow-up on the SOC 341 to confirm that an investigation is happening. Message was left on the 24 hour hotline with Adult Protective Services.
