On 2/14/24 at 4:45pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Arvin Villanueva arrived at 2844 W. March Lane in Stockton, California to conduct an unannounced health and safety visit. Currently, the facility is undergoing repairs. As a result, some of the clients in care have been relocated temporarily to this lodging at this time.

Upon arrival to this location, LPA proceeded to the assigned room and knocked on the door several times. There was no answer at the door. LPA contacted staff Sherry Camero regarding the whereabout of everyone and was informed they were visiting another client at another location. LPA waited for the client and staff to arrive. At 6:02pm clients and staff arrived at this lodging. Once inside, LPA observed room to be equipped with kitchenette, sink, refrigerator, microwave, and stove top for cooking. The room has one bathroom for clients and staff to use. There is a table and a TV for clients to use. Each client has their own bed to sleep. The clients brought food supplies and drinks to the lodging and LPA observed medication passing during this visit. Staff also brought a locked security box to be use to store clients' medication.

The department will continue to monitor the situations with health and safety checks until the residents are able to return to their primary residence.

Based observations during this visit, there are no deficiencies cited during this visit. An exit interview was conducted with staff Sherry and a copy of this report was provided.
