The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst, LPA, Noel Wolf Petersen arrived unannounced to the facility 1:45 pm to conduct a annual inspection. LPA met with the administrator Estrella Williams and explained the purpose of the visit. Estralla Williams Guest Home is a 6 capacity facility with a current census of 4, ambulatory, with no restricted conditions.

Physcial plant was inspected including but not limited to the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, exterior, evacuation route. Facility is clean, traffic areas are well lit and free of trip hazards.

Kitchen has adequate storage for the toxics, sharps, and medications. There is a adequate supply of food, both 2 days perishable and 7 days non perishable. fire extinguishers are dated 8/8/25, smoke and co/alarm is functional. first aid kit has all required items.

bathroom hardware is functional. water is measured between 105 and 120*F.

Bedrooms have required furnishings and furniture, including mattress encasements.

Evacuation route gate a little sticky, LPA gave guidance about monitoring it to swing freely and latch closed. Administrator provided that the Fence the gate is attached to will likely undergo a replacement. It is significantly bowed and might cause some stickiness in the route gate.
