Facility Evaluation Report
Unannounced case management visit made out to this day program on 09/08/2023 by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Charlie Yang who was met by the day program Director Karsha Henson. Brief interview was conducted with the day program Director at this time.
This day program is set to always maintain a 3:1 ratio for clients to staff at all times while participating at this day program.
The purpose of this visit was to follow up with this day program's request to increase the capacity from 60 clients to a total of 105 clients.
It was learned that the City of Manteca granted the Certificate of Occupancy to this day program for the increase on 01/24/2023.
It was learned that the payment for the capacity increase was submitted into CCL and received for processing on 06/02/2023.
It was learned that the final fire inspection was conducted, and completed, on 07/12/2023 by the Manteca City Fire Department. The capacity increase was approved by the fire department at this time.
A brief tour of this day program was conducted.
It was observed that the only changes took place with the addition of several restroom units for the clients and a walkway bridging both sides of this day program for better accessibility at all times.
The kitchen area and main common rooms were observed to remain with same without any physical alterations at this time. Designated office areas remained the same without any alterations at this time.
There were no deficiencies observed or cited during today's case management visit for a review of the day program's request to increase it's capacity from 60 clients to 105 clients at any given time.
This LPA will update the facility license to reflect the increase in capacity and mail out a hard copy to this day program at a later date. Exit Interview
