Staff are not following refund conditions

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Bethany Mirlohi arrived unannounced to open complaint investigation. LPA met with Administrator Krisztina Ivanscu during today's inspection.

Relevant Party stated they paid the facility a $6,000 deposit prior to family member moving into the facility in February 2025. Family member passed away before they moved into the facility. Relevant party stated licensee did not refund the $6,000 deposit. LPA interviewed Administrator in which she stated she made a mistake and forgot to refund the deposit due to lack of contact information. Licensee stated she paid relevant party $4,000 on 1/12/26 and still owes $2,000. Licensee stated she will refund the remaining $2,000. Due to the information gathered, LPA finds allegation to be SUBSTANTIATED.
