Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brandon Lopez made an unannounced visit to conduct a Case Management Incident inspection. LPA is following up on an incident report that was received by the Orange County Regional Office regarding a medication error for a client. LPA was greeted and granted entry into the facility by staff after explaining the purpose for the visit. Administrator (AD) Liezel Tuason was notified via telephone and later arrived to assist with the inspection.
On today's visit, LPA observed three clients in care and multiple staff present. LPA conducted an audit of clients medications and their medication administration records (MAR). LPA observed no issues between the medications on file for clients and the client's MAR. LPA observed each medication had a valid prescription and that medications were kept in its original container.
Based on the observations made during today's visit, no deficiencies are being cited per the Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations. An exit interview was conducted with Administrator Liezel Tuason and a copy of the report was provided.
