The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joseph Alejandre made an unannounced visit to conduct the required annual inspection. LPA met with Ryan Williams, Director of Facilities (DF) and explained the reason for the visit. Facility is a Transitional Social Rehabilitation Facility (SRF) licensed for 6 ambulatory clients. Facility is a two story home with 5 bedrooms upstairs ( 1 bedroom is being used as an office) an office on the first floor, one bedroom downstairs along with a living room, dining room, laundry room and a 3 car attached garage. LPA and the DF toured the facility. At this time the facility has no clients. LPA observed there are no client belongings in the facility. All client rooms have the required furnishings. Smoke detectors/carbon monoxide detectors tested operational. LPA and DF toured the backyard of the facility. There is a swimming pool and a fountain, both are surrounded by a fence. The pool gate is locked. Both backyard exit gates are latched and operational. No obstacles or hazards observed inside or outside of the facility. No staff currently work at the facility. No records were reviewed during the visit because there are no clients or staff at the facility. No deficiencies observed during the visit. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report provided.
