The inspector’s account

On today's date Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) William Vanegas made an unannounced case management visit for the purposes of conducting a tour of the facility for closure of this facility due to a change of ownership. Upon arrival LPA Vanegas was greeted and granted entry to the facility by facility staff. LPA explained the purposes of the visit and began a tour of the facility and observed the following.

The facility is a one storied home with six bedrooms one of which is a staff room, and five of which are client bedrooms. An attached two car garage, and two shared bathrooms. LPA Observed there to be fully fenced pull in the backyard with a fence measuring at 5 ft high. LPA Vanegas observed clients to be at the facility. LPA reviewed four client files and they all had the required documents in them.

LPA Vanegas observed clients in care to be lounging in their bedrooms and observed smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors to be in good repair and operational. LPA Vanegas obtained facilities license to file in the facility file located at the regional office. LPA Conducted an exit interview with the house manager and left a copy of this report at the facility.
