LPA observed the centrally stored medication to be in a locked cabinet located between the resident rooms and the living room and made inaccessible to residents in care. LPA observed a first aid kit that was missing tweezers. LPA observed the kitchen to be clean and free of vermin. A two day perishable and seven day non perishable food supply was observed to be on hand. The sharps were in a locked drawer by the kitchen sink and made inaccessible to residents in care. The toxins were under the locked kitchen and bathroom sink as well as above the washer and dryer and made inaccessible to residents. LPA observed all appliances to be operational. LPA observed fire extinguishers in the facility charged and with a purchase date of March 25, 2025. LPA advised AD to have their fire extinguishers serviced or newly purchased by the expiration date listed. LPA observed the backyard to be free of debris and obstructions with a shaded seating area. The garage is used for extra facility storage. Staff tested the carbon monoxide and smoke detectors and they were found to be operational.
