The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Fred Arias conducted a case management visit for the purpose of conducting a health and safety check. LPA was greeted and granted entry into the facility by staff and explained the reason for the visit.

During the inspection, LPA toured and inspected the facility grounds and observed no health and safety issues. The facility is in good repair. Property utilities are working, such as electricity, gas and water. Perishable and non-perishable food supply was checked and adequately stocked at time of visit. LPA measured water temperature at 106.5 degrees F. LPA conducted health and safety checks on clients in care and observed no health or safety concerns.

LPA observed two clients sitting in the TV room area with two staff members attending to the clients' needs. AD Winnie Greco arrived shortly to assist with the visit. LPA was informed a Halloween party would be taking place shortly with other clients from nearby facilities. LPA interviewed staff.

Based on the observations made during today’s inspection, no deficiencies are being cited at this time.
