The inspector’s account

On today's date Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) William Vanegas conducted an unannounced visit for the purposes of completing annual inspection. Upon arrival LPA was greeted and granted entry to the facility by care giving staff. LPA advised staff of the purposes of the visit and staff advised Administrator via telephone. Administrator arrived shortly after to assist LPA with the annual inspection. LPA began a tour of the facility accompanied by Administrator and observed the following. Administrator has a valid administrator certificate valid from April 03, 2025 through April 02, 2027.

The facility is a one storied home with seven bedrooms one of which is a staff room, and six of which are resident rooms. The facility is equipped with two bathrooms both of which are shared. Additionally the facility has a two car detached garage. LPA observed kitchen area to be clean and free of any mildew and debris. LPA observed the kitchen area to be equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator, and a microwave. All appeared to be in good condition and tested operational. LPA observed for there to be a two day supply of perishable food and a seven day supply of non-perishable on hand along with a sufficient amount of emergency water on hand.

LPA observed all resident restrooms to be clean and free of any mildew and debris. All water faucets and toilets tested operational. Restrooms were observed to have all required furnishings including a shower chair, grab bars, and slip resistant floor matts. LPA observed hot water temperature to test between 112.3 and 114.5 degrees Fahrenheit. LPA observed all resident bedrooms to be large enough to walk about freely, and to be free of any hazards, and toxins. LPA observed all resident bedrooms to have required furnishings such as a chair, a bed, clean linens in good repair; meaning no strains or tears, a reading lamp, a chest of drawers, and enough storage space to store personal belongings.
