Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rose Ruppert made an unannounced visit to conduct an Annual Required Evaluation. LPA was greeted and granted entry by Andrew Wood, Program Manager (PM) and explained the purpose of the visit.
The Adult Day Program (ADP) is housed in a large warehouse with an approved fire clearance for a capacity of seventy one clients with five non-ambulatory. Fire clearance is permitted and maintained by Anaheim Fire and Rescue annually in July. There are currently forty two clients in attendance. The ADP hours are from 8am to 2:30pm. Clients are transported to the ADP via Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) or taxi.
During today's visit LPA toured the warehouse and observed three fire extinguishers were charged and inspected on May 20, 2026. The Day Program's last fire drill was conducted on March 16, 2026 and another fire drill will be conducted by the end of the month. LPA checked the hot water temperature in the main bathroom and it was 117.4 degrees Fahrenheit. There is a refrigerator and freezer for clients to store lunches and there are additional lunches if clients forget to bring lunch. Every day clients set up tables and tents at 9am for a coffee break and clients sit outdoors for lunch. LPA observed that clients will be having food from Del Taco on June 19, 2026. Emergency supplies are in a trash bin with three days of snacks.
LPA observed client lockers and cubbies. There are no medications given on-site. The First Aid Kit had the required elements with a First Aid book. There was plenty of water for clients and microwaves were available for clients to heat their lunch. LPA observed staff spaces with desks and records and a large conference table at the front of the building where an Individual Program Plan meeting was taking place.
