The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rose Ruppert made an attempted Case Management visit to confirm if there are residents in care. LPA was unable to gain entry into the facility.

LPA knocked on the front door and no one answered. LPA observed there were no cars in the driveway but there was a vehicle parked in front Upon knocking and using the Ring doorbell, LPA did not hear any activity inside except for the chirping of a smoke alarm with a low battery. LPA looked into the front window and did not see any movement in the kitchen and it was dark indoors.

LPA observed a car parked on the side of the home adjacent to the Additional Dwelling Unit. LPA knocked on the dwelling unit but did not receive any response. LPA called the two phone numbers on the facility profile and neither number had the ability for LPA to leave a voicemail.

LPA was unable to conduct an exit interview and will mail a copy of the report to the Licensee mailing address on file.
