The inspector’s account

On today's date Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) William Vanegas made an unannounced visit for the purposes of conducting an annual inspection. Upon arrival LPA Vanegas was greeted and granted entry to the facility by facility staff. Administrator (AD) Maricel De Leon was notified of LPA arrival and arrived shortly after in order to assist LPA with the annual inspection. LPA began a tour of the facility and observed the following AD has a valid administrator certificate valid from April 7, 2025 through April 6, 2027.

The facility is a two storied home equipped with six bedrooms four of which are utilized for clients in care and two of which are utilized for staff. The facility is also equipped with an attached two care garage, and four bathrooms. LPA observed kitchen area to be clean and free of any mildew's and debris. LPA observed kitchen area to be equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. All appliances appeared to be in good repair and tested operational. LPA observed there to be a two day supply of perishable food and a seven day supply of non-perishable food. Additionally the facility is equipped with a sufficient amount of emergency water.

LPA observed all resident bedrooms to be large enough to walk about freely and accommodate all required furnishings including the following: A chair, a chest of drawers, a bed, clean linens in good repair; meaning no strains or tears, a reading lamp, and adequate storage space to store personal belongings. LPA observed all bathrooms to be clean and free of any mildews and debris. LPA observed all bathrooms to have all required furnishings such as grab bars, slip resistant floor matts, and a shower chair. LPA observed water faucets and toilets to be operational. Hot water temperature tested between 108.8 and 110.3 degrees Fahrenheit.
