The inspector’s account

On today's date Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) William Vanegas and Regional Manager (RM) Monica Tran conducted and unannounced visit for the purposes of conducting an annual inspection. Upon arrival LPA and RM were greeted and granted entry to the facility by facility staff. LPA explained the reason for the facility and Administrator (AD) Noel Villegas was notified via telephone and arrived shortly after our arrival to assist with the annual inspection. LPA began a tour of the facility and observed the following. AD has a valid Administrator certificate valid from June 14, 2026 through June 13, 2028.

The facility is a one storied home equipped with four bedrooms three of which are client rooms and one of which is utilized for staff. The facility is equipped with two bathrooms which are both shared. Additionally the facility is equipped with a detached two car garage. LPA observed kitchen area to be clean and free of any mildew and debris. LPA observed kitchen area to be equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, and a toaster oven. All appeared to be in good repair and tested operational. LPA observed there to be a two day supply of perishable food and a seven supply of non-perishable food on hand, additionally there is a sufficient amount of emergency water on hand.

LPA observed all client bedrooms to be free of any large bulk items and hazards. LPA observed all bedrooms to be large enough to walk about freely, and accommodate all required furnishings including: A chest of drawers, a reading lamp, a chair, a bed, clean linens in good repair; meaning no strains or tears, and enough storage space to store personal belongings. LPA observed all resident restrooms to be free of any mildew and debris and have all required furnishings such as a shower chair, grab bars, and slip resistant floor matts. Additionally all restrooms were observed to have operational toilets and faucets. Hot water temperature tested between 106.2 and 109.9 degrees Fahrenheit.
