The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Samer Haddadin conducted an unannounced visit to the facility to complete the required Annual Inspection. Upon arrival, LPA Haddadin was greeted and granted entry by Licensee, Edgardo Pascual.

The facility is licensed to operate for six (6) clients, of which two (2) may be classified as nonambulatory. The facility is a single-story residence located in a residential neighborhood. It consists of four (4) client bedrooms, two (2) staff bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms, a living area, dining area, kitchen, outdoor storage shed, outdoor covered patio area, and a detached garage.During the inspection, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors were observed in all required areas, including client bedrooms and common spaces. All devices were tested and found to be operational. Client bedrooms contained the required furnishings, including appropriate bedding, linens, and adequate closet and drawer space. Bathrooms were inspected and observed to be clean, with fully functioning toilets. Hot water temperatures were measured at 114.6 degrees Fahrenheit in the first restroom and 116.6 degrees Fahrenheit in the second restroom, both within the regulatory range. Towels and personal hygiene supplies were adequately stocked.The facility was observed to be clean, orderly, and free of hazards, with unobstructed passageways throughout. {***CONTINUE 809C***}
