The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sam Haddadin conducted an unannounced Required – One Year Inspection. Upon arrival, LPA met with Administrator (AD) Euphrosyne Dimaano and explained the purpose of the visit.The facility is a one-story residence with six bedrooms, four bathrooms, and an attached garage used for storage. All resident bedrooms were inspected and observed to be properly furnished with a bed, chair, and clean linens. Adequate storage was available, and no tripping hazards were observed. The kitchen was clean and in good repair, with all major appliances in working order. Knives and other sharps were secured and inaccessible to residents in care.The exterior of the facility was well maintained. Pathways were unobstructed, the grounds were free of hazards, and furnishings were in good condition. A shaded seating area was available for residents. The fire extinguisher was fully charged, with the indicator in the green zone. Hot water temperature was measured at 114.6 degrees Fahrenheit, which is within the regulatory range. Facility records showed that the last emergency drill was conducted on August 31, 2025.The facility maintained an adequate supply of food, consisting of at least two days of perishable items and seven days of nonperishable items. A review of resident files revealed no discrepancies, and staff records were complete and contained all required documentation.

Based on today’s inspection and observations, no deficiencies are being cited in accordance with Title 22, Division 6 of the California Code of Regulations. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to the facility.
