Facility Evaluation Report

On 6/20/2024 LPA Tryon traveled to the facility to conduct an annual visit. LPA met with Director Jeanne Marliese Bankert. The program currently has 12 participants, and 2 new participants are planning to start soon. Program currently has 5 staff. LPA toured the program with Mrs. Bankert including classrooms, art room, offices, space to rest/relax, bathrooms, art gallery, etc. The program spends a lot of time out in the community. The program recently obtained a 15 passenger van.

The facility appears to be safe, clean, well-furnished and pleasant. Smoke detectors/carbon monoxide detectors are installed.

LPA reviewed the CARE Tool with Mrs. Bankert.

LPA was able to interview 2 participants, and said hello to others. All appeared to be enjoying the program.

At this time, the program is in substantial compliance with the regulations.
