The inspector’s account

LPA Hiratsuka, conducted this unannounced annual visit. LPA toured the facility with Caregiver Danilo Valenton.

This facility now has two shared resident rooms and two private rooms. Bedroom two has a full bathroom. There is one shared common bathroom. Room four has two separate exits; one to the hallway and one near the front door. The garage is connected to the kitchen by a door. The garage is used for storage only and is off-limits to the clients. There is a storage/living area under the house. There is 24 hour awake night staff. There is a wood deck from the living room. The facility is very well maintained. The kitchen was inspected. There is a little sitting area. The sharp knives and medications are locked in the pantry. The perishable and nonperishable food supply met Title 22 regulations. The stove knobs are covered to prevent the clients from having access. There is a fish tank between the kitchen and main common area. It does not pose a danger to residents. All doors have audio alarms on them.
