The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cassandra Mikkelson arrived unannounced and met with Program Manager Christi Coffey to conduct an annual inspection utilizing the inspection tool.

LPA conducted an inspection of the care home to ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations. LPA observed client classrooms, client kitchen, common areas, and client restrooms. LPA observed classrooms to be properly furnished. The bathrooms were in sanitary condition and properly maintained.

Fire extinguishers and first aid kit are maintained and ready for emergency use. LPA reviewed two (2) resident files and two (2) staff files. LPA observed clients partaking in various activities and classes led by staff.

As a result of this visit, no deficiencies were cited pursuant to California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8. Exit interview was conducted with Administrator.
