Facility Evaluation Report
01/29/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Loera conducted an unannounced Annual Required – 1 yr. inspection visit for this facility. Facility has an emergency disaster plan as required. Facility has an infection control plan as required. Facility is an adult day care program. LPA met with Director, Lauren Sockler. Day Program has a fire clearance for 110 clients. Out of the 110 clients, 20 clients can be non-ambulatory. Upon arrival, LPA was informed that there were currently 69 clients attending Day Program with 23 staff members on-site. Day program operates Monday through Friday from the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm.
LPA and Director conducted a walk through of the facility and observed the following: The facility was found to be clean and at a comfortable temperature with all exits free from obstruction. Facility has multiple buildings/activity areas which includes the TAC main building which consists of a senior program and the kitchen, barn art studio, and a garden. Day program activities include art, music, gardening, puzzles, games, care for animals, and bee keeping. Clients are able to sell their art and products at local Farmer's Markets, local merchants and the Cedars Art Studio. Clients have the option to bring their own lunch or to have lunch that is provided by the facility on-site. Toxins were observed to be stored inaccessible to clients. Hot water temperatures in four sinks were measured and were all found to be within regulation of 105 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Fire extinguishers were inspected January 2026. Facility has a fire sprinkler system.
Facility conducts monthly fire drills with the last one being conducted 01/08/2026.
LPA conducted a review of 8 client records. All records had the required documentation. LPA conducted spot medication count for clients and found all prescription medication to be properly recorded on the Centrally Stored Medication Record .
LPA conducted review of 6 staff records/training. Upon a review of staff records, LPA found all staff to have required annual and initial training as well as current 1st Aid & CPR certification on file.
