Staff is caring and supervising residents while intoxicated.

On 11/18/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Loera conducted an unannounced visit for the purpose of delivering complaint findings regarding the above allegation. LPA arrived and met with Executive Director, Jose Acumabig. During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, reviewed documents, and made observations.

Based upon interviews conducted, reviewed documents, and observations made, information provided was contradicting with a lack of corroborating evidence to support the allegation. Reporting Party (RP) stated a staff member (S1) was observed to be intoxicated with the smell of alcohol. According to interviews conducted, four out of five staff interviewed revealed that they did not know of any staff showing up intoxicated, while one of out five staff interviewed stated that they know of some staff showing up smelling like marijuana. During the course of the investigation, the Department was unable to find evidence that S1 was intoxicated and impaired causing an inability to provide adequate care and supervision.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
