Complaint Investigation Report
Based on allegation: Staff did not ensure a client was properly groomed while in care. LPA Kruz Long's interviewed staff # 1 and #2 both denied allegation and stated no issues with clothing and grooming for client's in care. LPA Calderon interviewed client #2 whom denied allegation stating she/he is groomed and taken care of. LPA Calderon contacted / interviewed Sally Cano Service Coordinator from San Gabriel/ Pomona Regional Center (SGPRC) on 1/11/23, SGPRC was aware of allegations. Cano stated no issues found in their investigation findings on fiduciary abuse, P&I monies and grooming towards clients in care.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged. Therefore, the complaint investigation of the allegations is unsubstantiated.
No Deficiencies cited under California Code of Regulations Title 22.
Exit interview was held with DSP worker Virginia Elopra and a copy of this report was provided.
