The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sandra Urena arrived at the facility unannounced to conduct a Required Annual inspection. LPA arrived at the facility and rang the doorbell several times, there was no answer. The LPA contacted the Administrator Anait Domio on the phone and explained the reason of the visit. Administrator stated that no one was at the facility, and she would arrive within an hour and 30 minutes. The LPA stated they would come back at that time. The facility serves level 3 clients from North Los Angeles County Regional Center.

The LPA and the Administrator toured the physical plant areas inside and outside to ensure there are no health and safety hazards and facility is in compliance with Title 22 Regulations.

COMMON AREAS: At the time of the visit, living room and dining room furniture was observed to be in good condition. The facility maintained a comfortable temperature. Smoke detector(s) and carbon monoxide detector were tested and operational at the time of the visit. The fire extinguisher was fully charged and were last serviced 10/24/2024. The LPA observed required postings throughout the common space.

KITCHEN: Knives and cleaning supplies are stored inaccessible. Kitchen appliances were in operable condition. The facility has a sufficient supply of perishable and non-perishable food. The hot water temperature measured at 110.8 degrees Fahrenheit.

BEDROOMS: There are three residents’ bedrooms, which were furnished appropriately with clean linens, appropriate furnishings and sufficient lighting. There were linen closets throughout the facility and in the hallway with plenty towels and linens.
