The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Quoc Huynh arrived at the facility unannounced for a required one year visit. LPA arrived at 9:30AM and met with facility Licensee/Administrator Badung Baget. Entrance interview conducted.

Beginning at 9:33AM, a tour of the physical plant was conducted to ensure residents’ health and safety and the facility is in compliance with Title 22 regulations. The facility is a Regional Center Level 3 one story home. The following was observed:

KITCHEN: Appliances and fixtures appeared clean and functional. The facility had a sufficient supply of perishable and non-perishable food. Food is prepared by the administrators and residents can prepare their own meals with supervision. Knives and other sharps are stored in a box inside a locked cabinet above the sink. Kitchen and house cleaning supplies are stored in a locked cabinet under the sink. First aid kit is stored in a cabinet above the fridge.

COMMON AREAS: Family Room and Dining Room furniture appeared clean and in good condition. All ramps were secure and positioned at a safe level. LPA observed locked file cabinets near the Family Room which contains facility records and centrally stored medications. Fire extinguishers were observed throughout the common areas and were last serviced on 04/12/2024. Combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were tested at 10:50AM and were functional.
