The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tuesday Cabiness conducted an annual visit and met with Halina Wrobel. LPA explained the reason for the visit. A tour of the physical plant was conducted inside and outside.

The facility has a total of seven (07) bedrooms. There are (3) rooms shared downstairs, and (4) rooms upstairs that are used for family. There are (03) bathrooms, of which one (01) is used for residents. The facility is fire cleared for six (06) non-ambulatory residents and a hospice waiver for six (06). The current census is (4).

Kitchen is sufficiently stocked with at least two (02) days perishable and seven (07) days non-perishable food. Frozen foods are wrapped and stored appropriately. Food storage and preparation areas are clean and inaccessible to pests. Knives, sharps, and medication are observed to be locked and inaccessible to residents. There are are (2) extra refrigerators and (1) freezer stocked with food, stored in the garage.

The living and dining room are neat and clean. The facility maintains a comfortable temperature. The smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are hardwired, and interconnected, and were operating. Fire extinguisher is located near the kitchen and observed to be fully charged and last purchased 10/2025.

The facility has outdoor furniture with a covered shaded area for residents and visitors. The facility does not have a swimming pool/body of water, but has a sauna, that was locked. Laundry detergents, cleaning agents and other toxins are locked away.

Residents rooms are adequately furnished with appropriate bedding and linens.
