Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Blanca Gonzalez conducted an unannounced required annual inspection. LPA met with Director Irma Swenson and explained the purpose of today’s visit.
The program is licensed to serve (30) Developmentally Disabled adults. There is a fire clearance approved for (20) non-ambulatory clients, of which (6) may use wheelchairs and (4) may use walkers only. All clients in this program receive case management services provided by San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center.
LPA utilized the Compliance and Regulatory Enforcement (CARE) tools for today’s visit and observed the following:
Physical Plant and Environmental Safety: The day program consists of a lobby, kitchen, main room, game room, staff break room, art room, sewing room, music room, administrator office, laundry room, two (2) restrooms, and a garage. LPA inspected the restrooms and they are sanitary, clean and in good working condition. The hot water temperature was tested in both bathrooms and measured at 109.2°F and 109.5° F which is within the Title 22 regulation. All chemicals and cleaning supplies are stored and locked in a closet. All the sharp knives are stored and locked in a kitchen cabinet.
