The inspector’s account

At 9:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Huma Rahimi conducted an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with the Administrator and explained the purpose of the visit. Based on LPA’s observations, there were no clients present in the facility at the time of the inspection.

During the visit, LPA observed that the facility is temporarily closed due to an active renovation/remodeling project. The facility notified the Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) of its renovation/remodeling plan on 03/29/2024. Renovation work began on 09/15/2025 and is anticipated to be completed around October 2026.

The Administrator informed LPA that, during the renovation period, the facility is providing remote and hybrid classes to clients in care, as approved by CCLD on 03/29/2024. The program currently offers eight (8) hybrid classes and four (4) remote/Zoom classes weekly. Hybrid classes are being conducted at the TLC Support Center, licensed under #197603521, where six (6) students are currently attending.

LPA observed that all construction and renovation areas are properly secured, and no hazards were noted.

LPA instructed the Administrator to contact the Woodland Hills Office upon completion of the renovation and to obtain a new fire clearance for the building.

Exit interview conducted and copy of this report signed and delivered.
