Complaint Investigation Report
Allegation: Personal Rights: Facility staff sent inappropriate material to client. It has been alleged that C-1 had nude pictures of S-2 in C-1’s personal phone. Per both, Investigator Edward Hector (CCLD-Investigation Branch) and San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center interviews and investigation, S-2 denied sharing photos with C-1 and C-1 was interviewed and admitted to stealing S-2’s phone and sending S-2’s explicit photos to C-1’s personal phone when S-2 left S-2’s cell phone unattended. Pomona Police Department also responded to this facility, confirmed the photos and had C-1 delete them. San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center findings were unsubstantiated. Interviews conducted and C-1’s admittance does not corroborate this allegation.
Based on record review and interviews conducted the findings indicate, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
An exit interview conducted, appeal rights and a copy of this report was provided to Melvin Ochei.
