Complaint Investigation Report
Interviews conducted with clients revealed 9 out of 10 clients stated staff communicate with them respectfully and communicate with others in a respectful manner as well. Interviews conducted with staff revealed 6 out of 6 staff stated to maintain good/respectful communication with clients and that a comment like "if it was vodka, it would be good for you", would be inappropriate at the facility. Interview with S6 revealed that S6 was talking C1 about a drink C1 had purchased. However does not recall S3 being present at the time of the conversation or stating the above comment. Document reviewed revealed staff received training on "Introduction/Orientation and Resident Rights" on 3/17/23.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED .
