The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elizabeth Irra conducted the required annual inspection. LPA met with Gema Patricia Garcia. LPA explained the purpose of today's visit. LPA spoke to Monique Jordan via telephone. Phillip Jordan arrived shortly to assist with this visit.

This facility is approved for (6) ambulatory clients. Clients residing at this home receive case management services provided by Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center.

LPA utilized the Compliance and Regulatory (CARE) tools for the visit today and observed the following:

Infection Control: Facility has an Infection Control plan in place. Observed to be posted.

Operational Requirements: Staff are adhering to operational requirements.

Physical Plant & Environment Safety: Smoke alarms tested and operable. Carbon monoxide detectors tested and operable (located in the hallways-both downstairs and upstairs). The fire extinguishers were observed in the kitchen and upstairs hallway (last serviced 07/24/24). Hot water temperature measured between 107.0* to 107.5*. Knives, cleaning solutions, and disinfectants are locked and inaccessible to clients. Passageways were free of obstruction.
