The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mariana Agban conducted an Annual Required visit and inspection of the facility. LPA met with Administrator Maria Fay del Rosario, and explained the reason for the visit. At approximately 09:10 AM, with the assistance of the Administrator, LPA took a tour of the physical plant. Required postings were observed in the entry area. The smoke alarms were tested and appeared functional. There are two functional carbon monoxide detector installed in the kitchen and dining area. There is a fire extinguisher located in the kitchen. The purchase date is 02/02/26.

Kitchen: The kitchen appliances and fixtures were functional. LPA found a sufficient amount of perishable and non-perishable food at the facility; properly stored. Knives were stored in a locked drawer in the kitchen. Medications and medications records were locked in the kitchen cabinet.

Bedrooms: The facility has total of four(4) bedrooms. Three (3) bedrooms designated for clients' use and one (1) for staff use. All three bedrooms, in use by clients, were properly furnished with appropriate beddings and linens with sufficient lighting.

Bathrooms: The facility has two bathrooms. One for clients use and one for staff use. Water temperature in the bathroom measured at 107.6 F. Bathroom designated for clients was properly supplied and had functional fixtures. No cleaning supplies were observed in the bathroom during inspection.

Temperature: Facility maintains a comfortable temperature of 75 degrees Fahrenheit
