Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Trevor Byrne arrived to the facility to conduct an unannounced Case Management- Deficiencies inspection.

During the physical plant tour LPA observed a food storage shelf located in the storage room in the backyard of the facility. LPA observed expired food items on the shelf. LPA observed five (5) jars of peanut butter, two (2) bottles of ketchup, four (4) boxes of pasta, and one (1) jar of tomato paste to be past their expiration dates. Facility staff removed the items and agreed to dispose of the at the time of the visit.

Pursuant to Title 22 of the CA Code of Regulations, the following deficiency was cited (refer to LIC 809-D): Exit interview conducted and copy of the report was issued and appeal rights provided.
