The inspector’s account

At 09:30 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lorena Casillas arrived at facility and met with Nicholas Williams (Program Coordinator) for an unannounced annual visit. Entrance interview conducted.

Infection control: LPA reviewed facility infection control plan (approved on 10/17/2022) to make sure licensee was following current infection control recommendations.

LPA and Program Coordinator went reviewed Emergency and Disaster Plan to ensure plan is up to date.

Administration : LPA received LIC 500 and Client roster.

Physical plant : At 10:45 am, LPA and Program Coordinator toured the facility. LPA observed tables and chairs to be in adequate repair. LPA observed there to be no obstructions of passageways. Walls and floors were clean, and in good repair. Equipment and supplies used for day program appear to be in good repair. All trash cans were observed to have lids. The facility maintains a comfortable temperature at 70 F. The last annual fire alarm test was conducted on 7/2024 by the 5 Alarm Fire Corporation. There are nine (9) fire extinguishers that were last charged on 5/01/2024 and routinely checked by staff monthly with last recording on 12/06/2024. There are five (5) additional fire extinguishers located in each of the facility vehicles. The First Aid kit was observed and had necessary equipment.

Kitchen area: LPA observed the two kitchen areas to be neat and clean. Consumers bring their own lunch and snacks.
