The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Evelin Rios and Mariana Agban conducted an unannounced Case Management - Deficiencies visit in conjunction to Complaint #31-AS-20231025133939 and 31-AS-20231023143942. LPAs met with administrator and explained the purpose of the visit.

LPA Agban toured the facility at 9:40 a.m. with the Administrator and observed the following:

At 10:05 a.m., LPA observed chemicals for cleaning in a cart in a hallway in the designated memory care unit unattended. LPA observed a housekeeper in a resident's room cleaning. LPA observed housekeeper did not have a line of sight of chemicals used for cleaning.

Based upon LPA's observations a deficiency was cited (refer to LIC 809-D).

Exit interview conducted, Appeal Rights and a copy of the report provided to Administrator.
