Facility Evaluation Report
On 06/11/2024 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA’s) Lorena Casillas and Leslie Castaneda-Ngo arrived at facility for a third (3 rd ) attempt at an unannounced one (1) year Required visit for this facility.
LPA Casillas arrived at 9:15 am, City of Lancaster Code Enforcement Officers were in the home along with staff member Renwick Mixon. LPA was able to gain access and was able to speak to Administrator. Administrator stated that they would be designating staff member Mixon to sign the report. LPA Castaneda-Ngo arrived shortly after.
A tour of the physical plant was conducted with designee at 09:45 am. The facility has four (4) bedrooms and four (4) bathrooms currently occupying no clients. The tool kit was not used on this visit as there are no clients.
Infection control: LPA Casillas reviewed the facility Infection Control Plan submitted on 12/08/2022 to make sure the licensee was following current infection control recommendations.
Living and dining: At 10:10 am, LPAs observed the living room and family room area to be neat and clean along with the dining room. The facility maintains a comfortable temperature at 74°F. There is one (1) fire extinguisher located in the kitchen and one (1) fire extinguisher in the hallway, last serviced on 2/2024. The carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector were tested and observed to be operational at 10:20 am.
