The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Leslie Ngo-Castaneda conducted an annual required visit and inspection of the facility. LPA met with staff, Geraldine Moreno and explained the reason for the visit. Approximately, around 10:30 AM assistant administrator Priscilla Isordia arrived and was explained for the reason of the visit.

At 11:08 AM, with the assistance of assistant administrator, LPA took a tour of the physical plant. Required postings were observed in the entry area. At 11:41 AM smoke alarms were tested and are operational. There are carbon monoxide detectors that functions properly. The fire extinguisher is beside the kitchen. The charge date is 7/09/2025. During the visit the facility is at 69 degrees Fahrenheit. The facility is fire cleared for three (03) ambulatory and one (01) non-ambulatory.

Kitchen: The kitchen appliances and fixtures were functional. The kitchen has a working gas stove, faucet, freezer, refrigerator, and microwave. LPA found enough at least two (2) days perishable and seven (7) days non-perishable food at the facility that is properly stored. Frozen foods are wrap, dated, and stored properly as well. Knives were stored in a locked cabinet under the kitchen sink. Office space is beside the kitchen. Properly labeled medications were locked in the kitchen cabinets.

Bedrooms: There were four (4) bedrooms designated for clients' use. Three (3) of the bedrooms are in use by the clients were properly furnished with appropriate dresser, beddings, and linens with sufficient lighting. Bedroom #1 is vacant at the moment. Bedroom #2, bedroom #3, and #4 are properly furnished and is for private used.
