Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sandra Urena conducted an unannounced Case Management-Other visit to take measurements in an area of the facility. The LPA met with the Administrator Anna Hakobian and explained the reason for the visit.
LPA Urena, along with the Administrator toured the physical plant areas inside and outside. LPA took measurements between the cinder block wall and the facility wall which is the wall to the two bedrooms and the dining room area. This is the area where the non-ambulatory ground has been raised to floor level. The distance between the two points of reference is 50" inches wide. Furthermore, the LPA and the Administrator had a conversation about the shaded area available in front of the facility for the residents' use, and it was understood and confirmed that the current shaded area meets the department's regulations.
The Administrator stated that they are willing to make changes to meet the NLACRC expectations for the outdoor area for the residents' use; they would add fencing around the pool area, which would provide safe access for the residents to the the backyard shaded and grass area. The project would take approximately four weeks to complete.
Interview exit was conducted. A copy of the report was issued.
