The inspector’s account

During the initial visit, LPA observed sufficient perishable and non-perishable foods. The perishable items appear fresh and have not expired. Staff indicated that they never serve expired food to the clients. The food supply is often restocked once it becomes low. LPA interviewed three (3) clients. Clients stated that the facility always has fresh fruits, and the refrigerator is always stocked. The staff have never served them expired items.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur; therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

An exit interview was conducted with the administrator. A copy of this report, along with the appeal rights, was provided.
