Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Nune Margaryan conducted a visit for capacity increase. This program is currently licensed with a capacity of 48 and is seeking an additional 16 individuals for a total capacity of 64. The fire safety inspection was granted by Inspector, Nicolas Escobedo, of the Los Angeles County Fire Department on 04/24/2025. The Fire Inspector approved the total for the capacity of 64 ambulatory clients. LPA met with Program Director Adriana Jovel who assisted with the visit. The reason for the visit was explained. This program operates Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The day program consists of Administrator office, 8 additional offices, lobby, Conference room, work area, storage area with the lockers for the clients, cleaning supply storage room, kitchen area, 2 bathrooms. (Bathroom 1 for Women and Bathroom 2 for Men) Quiet area room, classroom, and a sitting area. LPA toured the facility with Adriana Jovel and the following was observed: There is shaded area for the clients. The bathrooms were observed to be clean and operational. The water temperature was tested in the bathrooms within the required range of 105 - 120 degrees F. Program does not provide medication or meals to clients during ADP activities. Clients are able to bring their own food. Also, the Day program does provide lunch for clients that choose to purchase lunch. There is a refrigerator where the clients can store their food. Sufficient storage space, lockers for 64 clients personal items observed. Clients and staff files are locked and stored in the facility office's where cabinets are located. Smoke / Carbon Monoxide detectors are centralized and were observed in the facility. Facility is also equipped with a centralized sprinkler system.
No deficiencies were noted during the visit.
Based on today's inspection and receipt of the fire clearance on 04/24/2025, it appears that the facility currently meets physical plant requirements per Title 22. Exit interview conducted and copy of the report provided.
