Complaint Investigation Report

Regarding Allegation: Facility does not allow client to control his money . It is alleged that administrator does not allow C1 access to his money. Administrator stated that C1 controls his own money and pays the rent in cash. C1 stated he controls his own money. 4/6 clients interviewed stated that they control their own PI monies and that it is given to them every month. Based on LPA's record review, observations and interviews, investigation revealed, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

Regarding Allegation: Facility is not providing meals to client. Administrator stated there is plenty of food for residents. C1 stated he can only eat spicy noodles, sausage, bacon and lettuce. There is not special dietary order in clients file that specifies special diet. 5/6 residents stated that get 3 meals and snacks every day . Based on LPA's record review, observations and interviews, investigation revealed, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

Regarding Allegation: Facility is not providing basic laundry services to clients. It is alleged that facility does not do laundry for residents and that residents are not allowed to do their own. Administrator stated that she does the laundry for all the residents once a week and if residents want to do their own laundry, it is allowed, 6/6 residents stated that facility does their laundry once per week. Based on LPA's record review, observations and interviews, investigation revealed, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
