Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elena Mallett made an unannounced Case Management visit to the facility and was met by Licensee Loida Samonte. The purpose of the visit was explained.
A tour of facility revealed no health and safety concerns.
LPA learned through interviews that S2 and S3 had performed glucose testing for C1 without receiving training from a Licensed Health Professional. A deficiency was cited. See 809-D.
A deficiency was cited Per Title 22 Regulations. An exit interview was conducted with Licensee Loida Samonte and a copy of this Licensing Report was provided along with Appeal Rights.
