The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michael Cava conducted an Annual Required visit and inspection of the facility. LPA met with the administrator, Rajpal Singh, and explained the reason for the visit.

At approximately 10:00pm, LPA took a tour of the physical plant. Currently there are no residents. Licensee awaiting vendorization from Regional Center. The facility is a one story building. Required postings were observed in the entry area. The smoke alarms and carbon monoxide are dual, hardwired and interconnected. The fire extinguisher is located by the kitchen. It was purchased on April 26, 2025.

Kitchen: The kitchen appliances and fixtures are maintained and in good repair. LPA found a sufficient non-perishable food. No perishable food items at this time as there are no residents. Knives are stored in a locked drawer in the kitchen. Cleaning supplies are stored locked underneath the kitchen sink.

Bedrooms: There are four (4) bedrooms designated for the residents use. All four bedrooms are private. Bedrooms are furnished with beds, night stand, chairs, dresser, bedding and linen. The bedrooms have sufficient lighting and closet space.

Bathrooms: There are two (2) bathrooms designated for residents' use. Bedroom #1 has it's own bathroom with toilet and shower. The other bathroom is located in the hallway. Both bathrooms were observed to have the proper fixtures and non-skid mats. The hot water delivered in the bathrooms measured between 108 to 110 degrees.
