Complaint Investigation Report

Next door to this HCO is a business called Mae Morgan Staffing which is owned by licensee’s wife which is under a different corporation as this HCO. Mae Morgan Staffing is a referral agency whose primary business is referring clients with caregivers who are independent contractors. HCO licensee stated he has not had any clients since the HCO's inception and no home care aides employed, no payroll records could be provided for review.

Based on the evidence gathered and interviews conducted, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED.

EA concluded the visit with an exit interview and provided a copy of this report along with appeal rights to the licensee.
