Facility Evaluation Report
On 05/19/2023 at 1:00pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Antonine Richard conducted an unannounced annual required visit using the new Care Inspection Tool. LPA was met with Licensee Morigan Coffee and the purpose of today’s visit was explained. The facility is licensed to serve three (3) ambulatory residents ages 18 - 59 years of age.
LPA observed the facility’s infection control practices: LPA observed a sanitizing station at the facility entrance. PPE supplies are readily available to staff and residents, and additional supplies are stored. Sufficient paper, cleaning, and disinfecting supplies were observed. The facility has the mandated COVID infection control posters.
LPA Antonine Richard toured the facility with Morigan Coffee. The residents were at their day program. Around 2:00 PM, Residents came back from the day program. The home consists of three (3) bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms, living Room, kitchen, dining area, garage, and back yard. The Hot water temperature measured from 108.6F to 112.1F degrees. All rooms were checked, and mattresses and bedsprings are in good repair, adequate lighting, nightstand, chair, and closet space observed. LPA observed that there were sufficient toiletries, linens towels and bedding for clients. First Aid kit was fully stocked with manual. Fire extinguishers were charged, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors were operable.
