The inspector’s account

On 09/12/25 at 1:20pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Perry Scott conducted an unannounced annual required visit to Anzac Residential Care. LPA met with Andrea Robinson, Licensee, and the purpose of today’s visit was explained. The facility is licensed to operate for six (6) ambulatory (Developmentally Disabled Adults) ages 18 through 59. Currently, the facility has (5) clients. The clients are Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health clients. None of the clients have Restricted Health Care Conditions and none are utilizing postural supports or protective devices. The facilities annual fees are current.

The facility is a single-story family home located in a residential neighborhood. The facility consists of the following: (4) bedrooms, (2) bathrooms, living room, dining area, kitchen, activity room, front and backyard, laundry area, and an attached garage.

LPA conducted a records review of (5) client records, (5) staff records, (0) clients Personal & Incidental records and reviewed the facility disaster plan. All client and staff records were complete. Current clients are not receiving a P & I fund. The facility disaster plan was current and in compliance with Title 22 at the time of visit. LPA reviewed (5) client medication administration records and medication, and did not observe any discrepancies at the time of visit.

At 1:40pm, LPA and staff toured the facility. There are no bodies of water or firearm/ammunition on the premises. All client rooms were checked. Beds and bedding were in good condition, adequate lighting provided, and adequate storage for client’s personal belongings was observed. Walls and floors were in good repair. Bed linens, comforters, and bath towels were adequately stocked at the time of visit. Bathrooms were found to be within Title 22 regulations.
